Tropical Fall Colors

Is there a "Fall" in the tropics?  Isn't that just monsoon season or hurricane season?  Well, today's manicure is actually inspired by a shirt the Meteorologist was wearing on my local news station the other day.  It turned out a little differently...

The leaf pattern I chose is a little more tropical than the typical falling leaves across my part of the nation.  Oh well, it is still pretty.  LOL!

After my usual base coat, I painted 2 coats of the Coco-a-go-go on all of my nails.  This is an amazing polish and probably doesn't really need 2 coats but I went really thin on the layers.  I put a coat of Seche Vite on to harden the polish then stamped with BM19 when dry.

I used all three MDU polishes and put portions of the stamp across all of my nails and changed positions to keep it varied.

You can kind of see the red stamping in there but I chose this red  because it was deeper and more "fall-ish" than the Reddish from MDU and that was important to me.  So, even though it didn't show up as much as I wanted it to, I think it is still an important piece of the story.

Once the stamps were dry, I finished it all off with a final coat of Seche Vite.  Now that winter is coming down on me with a vengeance, I had to enjoy the warmth of these colors.
