Geometric #4

How about a little red, white and blue?  I will admit that this was one of my favorite mani's I did over the summer!  I never managed to post it, which was silly, but it fit right into the geometric challenge that I just had to use it here!

This is another texture manicure, but instead of a rough texture, this one is my "sandy".

After my usual base coat, I used 2 coats of Milani White for a solid white base.  I added a layer of Seche Vite to make sure that was nice and dry before I started the taping process.  There is a lot of tape here!  I must have cut 45 pieces for this one!  I worked one nail at a time to get nice, crisp lines.

I carefully laid each piece of tape down then added 2 coats of each color over the tape.  While the polish was still wet, I slowly pulled up the tape pieces.  After each nail was done and dry, I added a top layer of Seche Vite.

That's it for this month's challenge.  I'm running behind, but I am participating.  LOL!
